Policies & FAQs

  • 1. Go to our app or website to register at least 90 minutes before the class starts time.

    2. Select a class.

    3. Purchase a Drop-in, Welcome Offer, Class Pass, or Membership.

  • Bring your mat, water, a towel, and any props you like to support your practice. Mats and props are available for purchase in the studio.

  • Wear simple, breathable clothing that does not limit your range of motion. An outfit that you would wear on a jog on a warm day will work well for most of our active classes.

It may be nice to have a few more layers for Yin and Restorative classes where there is less vigorous movement.

Shoes are not permitted in the practice room. We don’t recommend wearing socks during practice because they can cause you to slip on your mat. If you prefer socks, ones with an anti-slip grip or opened-toe socks are best.

  • We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes early to allow time for check-in, restroom breaks, and questions before class. We encourage you to sign up online to decrease check-in time and secure your spot. During your wait, keep your voice low to respect those practicing.

  • We want to be respectful of all of our clients and guides. Therefore, clients who arrive more than 3 minutes late cannot enter the practice room. Please plan accordingly.

You will incur a $10 fee for late cancellations and a $15 fee for no-shows.

  • The class temperature is 71 - 75 degrees. Keep in mind that temperatures can increase depending on movement and the number of students in the class.

  • There is a free parking lot across the street from the studio and plenty of free street parking. Please drive at appropriate speeds and do not block driveways.

  • We are a cash-free studio and accept all debit and credit cards except American Express. Purchases can be made in-studio, online, or through our app.

  • Of course! Contact us directly at hello@rootedyogacommunity for more information. Rates may vary.

  • You and your provider must make that determination. Our staff is not qualified to diagnose or offer treatment plans for injuries or illnesses. However, we recommend letting your instructor know so that they can offer pose variations during your session.

  • We do not offer childcare. Children thirteen or older may attend class at the advertised rates.

We respect the practice space and our clients’ time on the mat. Therefore, if children become disruptive, you’ll be asked to leave. Classes are not refundable.

  1. Reserve classes a minimum of 90-minutes in advance through our app or online.

  2. Bring your mat and props. We do not provide equipment.

  3. Be on time. Clients who arrive more than 3 minutes late cannot attend the class.
